I was recently reminded of a project I created for Canadian Health magazine. This work was for a story published in 2000 about the effect of wealth on personal health, and I'm very proud of the concept and styling of these photos. The photographs were taken by Bernard Clark.

Survivor is a board game created for Luke's Place, a non-profit based in Durham Region, Ontario. Luke's Place offers support to women by helping them understand the court process, collecting evidence, working with lawyers and offering training and resources on family court advocacy to service providers in Ontario. My friend Pamela Cross, a lawyer and VAW consultant, developed the game to assist her during training sessions by engaging advocates in a variety of case studies.
I was invited to design the game board and materials, and I was really happy to learn how one goes about creating an attractive large-format board that could be easily folded and transported. It was also great to learn more about how Pam uses teaching tools in her work.
